Working with LHD
If you plan to drive a rental vehicle most anywhere outside of the United States, you will inevitably have to deal with driving a LHD car. LHD is a fancy abbreviation for Left Hand Driven, or Drive, and it means nothing more than that the steering wheel of the vehicle is on the opposites side. It takes some practice to get used to driving one of these cars, primarily because it is not only opposite feeling in the vehicle, but also on the road, as the lanes are backwards. Once you are used to the new road sttings, it takes no time at al to become comfortable.
