Are Cats Shy?
I’ve always been a dog person, and growing up with one I began to notice something. It wasn’t essential, but he preferred to do his “outside business” when we were not watching him. I couldn’t quite figure out why this was. Was he shy? Did he have a sense of decency? Or did he just feel vulnerable in that position so he wanted to be alone? I hadn’t put too much thought into this until my friend got a cat, and her litter box has a dome over it so that the kitten can have some privacy. Really? Do animals really get shy? It is hard for me to imagine an animal that cared if someone saw them in a compromising position like using the facilities. Do you need to buy all of your dog and cat supplies with this in mind?
