Estate appraisers know the difference between treasure and trash
Let’s face it most of us can’t tell the difference between a priceless antique and a flashy piece of junk. Learning the value of personal property and antiques takes a near lifetime to understand values. That is why when my dad died I took all of his antiques to 3 different estate appraisers. It was the best decision I could have made, the estate appraisers all gave me excellent advice. By having three opinions of value and 3 sources of advice I really think I got my money’s worth. Now I am confident that I can get a fair market price for these antiques.
