Mormon Women and Polygamy
I’ve seen so many people on the Internet trying to protect us poor mormon women, sharing all of the horrible things we have had to go through in history, but they conveniently leave out stories of mormon women who had a testimony of polygamy and received a witness of it before they were even asked to practice it. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not my cup of tea, but there were actually some positive things about polygamy such as the freedom to venture out and become midwives and doctors while the wives supported each other. I wish I could interview those who practiced it.
