Almost as surprising as his energy was the way in which he got it or the way in which he didn’t get it. First off, he did not drink coffee or cola. Not a drop. We couldn’t even find a single serve coffee maker in his apartment. Nor were there any drugs of any type. Not so much as an aspirin there for a headache. But he was energetic. You would follow him around and you would be the one who tired, not him. In spite of his massive speaking schedule, the rallies that he attended, he was always and forever in a peppy mood.
