Changing degrees in the Middle of School
My sister has always wanted to be a nurse and when she went to nursing school she realized that nursing wasn’t her calling. She found out about being a respiratory therapist and looked into some respiratory therapy schools. She transferred her credit hours to the new school and started getting her degree. I asked her what changed her mind so easily and she said that she had seen this young girl that had Cystic Fibrosis and felt so much compassion for her and decided that what she really wanted to do was help people beyond what nurses do. She wanted to help make breathing easier for those who struggle.
