Designed for Success

My son Ed just started a new job at our local hospital.  He went to school for just a year and became a certified surgical assistant. He does a variety of things at his job.  He takes patient histories and preps them for surgery. In the actual operating room, he sets up the surgical area and gets the instruments selected and arranged. During the actual operation, he charts processes and also assists the surgeons. He tracks the patient after surgery and moves them to the recovery room.  He likes helping people and also likes that he gets to use his mind.
