THe NIntendo DS is a portable gaming console keyword PORTABLE. This means that with its 2 screens and sound capabilities on top of an excellent graphics processor, the DS can drain batteries like no other. This is why it is generally a good idea to have a M3 DS because it will allow you to play simpler games that perhaps do no require as much power which are great for long trips. It might not be a bad idea to hold a second battery as well to make sure you can play your Nintendo DS for much longer on trips!
